Ramesh Bajaj

DG Ramesh Bajaj was born on 2nd December 1964. After receiving his education at Panipat, he started his career by working with Indian Airlines. Later he started his own company named Krishdev Textures, an enterprise engaged in exports of textile accessories.

He practices Vedic values in his day to day life after having imbibed them from his highly spiritual parents. He is founder President of Vedayan , Vice President of Arya Samaj and Secretary of kendriya Vedic Sabha of District Panipat. He is a very active member of Haryana Chamber of Commerce. He has been very closely associated with Art of Living and has served as an Apex body member in the state unit of Haryana. He is a life member of Chetna Pariwar where education is a gift to slum and rag picker children.

His passion to serve humanity drew DG Ramesh towards Rotary and he joined Rotary Club Panipat in 1991. He served as club President in the year 1999-2000. His leadership qualities have been well recognized and utilized at club and district level by way of his assignments as Group Discussion Leader, Panelist and a speaker. He has attended and participated in numerous Rotary functions & events in India and abroad. DG Ramesh has got the distinction of being selected as GSE Team Leader in 2006 when he lead a team of young entrepreneurs under the banner of Rotary to RI District 6110 covering areas of Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri & Oklahoma in the USA. He is a member of a committee constituted by excise and taxation department to prevent sexual harassment of women at work place and redressal issues.

His passion for environment has encouraged him to plant more than 280 fruit saplings over the years that have now grown in strong mighty trees providing fruits, shelter and soil conservation. He is an ardent music lover and is pursuing his  post graduation in classical music.

DG Ramesh Bajaj is married to Rtn. Rekha – an educationist by profession and Past President of Rotary Panipat Central. Both of them are Paul Harris Fellows. They are blessed with a son, Rohit - engrossed in family business and married to Ritambhara – a post graduate in Law, grand daughter Reidya, who is also a Paul Harris Fellow and thus making the whole family into PHF Family.
