Raman Aneja , a business graduate from Punjab university, was born in a landlord family of village brass in district Karnal of Haryana on 19th feb,1969. His father Mr. Ravinder Aneja is a highly respected citizen in the community who is a philanthropist and has deep concern for the poor and un privileged section of the society. His mother Mrs.Kanta Aneja,a pious souk and is the backbone of the family who possesses high spiritual background and has deep impact on children and grand children.

He began his textile Exports business career in 1991 and achieved an unprecedented height in the world of business on a very short span of time and is now the chairman of ISO9001:42008 Great Eastern Industries pvt. Ltd. ,a leading export house manufacturer, importer & Exporter of home textiles and technical textile. He has diversified into food business and real estate as well.

A member of Rotary club Panipat Midtown since 2003-04 ,Raman became club president in 2010-11 and since then has achieved many outstanding awards at the club, zone and district level for his meritorious service to the rotary. As a club president he was awarded best president and with a running trophy of best club of the district.

He is Paul Harris Society Member, Benefactor, Major donor level -II and recently Raman has pledged an endowment fund in the name of Meenu & Raman Aneja Endowment fund by contributing USD 25000 to the Rotary foundation .He is loved and respected in the rotary world for his exceptional leadership qualities and organizational capabilities.

Raman is a well read person and has travelled globally. His positive thinking and philanthropist nature has inspired him to work for the downtrodden and less fortunate.

The spirit of Rotary is dominant in family. His two younger brothers are also Rotarians who are excelling in business as well. All the member are Paul Hariss fellows.

Raman Aneja has received many honors and recognitions for his meritorious social service. Recently he was conferred "Haryana Ratan Award 2015" by all India conference of intellectuals held at Shimla.

He is happily married to Meenu, a devoted and charming life partner who supports Rotary ideals and takes keen interest in Rotary service. The couple is blessed with a son and two daughters. Eldest son Sidharath has finished his graduation in Marketing Business Degree from Indiana University, Indianapolis, USA, daughter Sonakshi completed her business graduation course at United States Suhani, and the youngest daughter is studying at The Lawrence School of Sanawar.
